Easter Weekend Round-up

I actually really love Easter weekend.  Mostly because it means there is a four day weekend, which, let’s face it, is better than Christmas when you work 9-5 Monday to Friday, but it’s also when the weather starts to get warmer and you don’t need to wear 3 layers of clothing just to get out of bed.

It was a pretty quiet weekend for me.  I spent most of the day on Good Friday doing some much needed housework.  I’m a pretty busy person, so sometimes things like vacuuming get neglected.  I had a little bit of fun playing around with table settings in my kitchen/breakfast nook.  Circles are fun!

Saturday was raining, but I took my mom to do a few errands, just to get us both out of our respective houses for a few hours.  It turned in to kind of a long day, and I had plans to go out with my sister, but due to unforeseen events, we didn’t actually wind up going. So, I ordered from my favourite sushi place, poured myself a glass of wine and binge watched a couple episodes of Glee (yes, I’m a nerd, you’ll learn that about me pretty quickly) and Thirteen Reasons Why.

On Easter Sunday, I continued my Netflix binge for a little while and then I got bored, so I headed over to my parents house for some Easter munchies before a delicious Easter meal of filet mignon with Gorgonzola, baked sweet potato and asparagus (not pictured because I ate it all before I thought to document it).

Monday I spent mostly nursing a super fun migraine.  I think I can count on one hand the amount of migraines I have had in my life.  I’m not sure where it came from, but I can certainly tell you it wasn’t fun.  I managed to rally later on in the evening and made my way to a dance rehearsal for a show that I’m in (more on that on a later date) and called it a day!

Not the most exciting of long weekends, but overall I would say it was a success!  I want to know what you all did over the long weekend!  So let me know in the comments!
